Who processes your data?
The controller of your personal data is Betty’s Home, located in Poznań (61-249), Unii Lubelskiej 3.
Why do we process your data?
Processing your data allows us to provide our services, including maintaining your account, fulfilling your orders, and contacting you regarding contract performance. We specifically process your personal data for the following purposes:
-
To perform a service agreement (including order fulfillment, billing, communication related to service delivery, and communication via the contact form). The legal basis is the necessity to perform the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR). If, during registration or use of the account, you provided optional data (e.g., by filling in non-mandatory fields in a form), the legal basis for processing that data is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). Data processing for this purpose only takes place if you have an account.
-
To handle complaints and potential legal claims. The legal basis is Betty’s Home’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), which is the safeguarding of information about the cooperation (including order history, communication, and payments) for handling possible claims.
-
For analytical or statistical purposes. The legal basis is Betty’s Home’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), which involves using financial and sales analyses for internal reporting and determining optimal directions for our development.
-
For sending you marketing content. The legal basis is Betty’s Home’s legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), which is delivering requested marketing communication, including newsletters containing information on current offers, promotions, or contests. Your data will only be processed for this purpose if you have consented to receive marketing information (newsletters) via electronic means.
-
Your data will be processed within an IT environment, which means it may also be temporarily stored and processed to ensure the security and proper functioning of IT systems, such as in connection with backups, system testing, bug detection, or protection against abuse and attacks.
How long do we store your data?
Your personal data will be stored for the duration of the contract. Additionally, after the contract ends, your data will be stored to fulfill accounting and tax obligations, for the duration of those obligations, and for legal security reasons, until any potential claims expire. Where data is processed based on your consent, it will be processed until you withdraw that consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the legality of processing done before the withdrawal. If you wish to withdraw consent, please send an email or letter to the address listed below in the section “How can you contact us?”
Who do we share your data with?
Due to services provided to Betty’s Home by external entities, they may access your personal data to the extent necessary to perform those services. These entities include IT service and system providers, postal and courier services, payment operators, and other subcontractors.
What are your rights?
With regard to the processing of your data by Betty’s Home, you have several rights:
– You can obtain information on how and to what extent we process your data, as well as receive a copy of your personal data.
– You can request correction of your data (if it was recorded incorrectly or has changed), deletion (if there is no basis for Betty’s Home to process it), or restriction of processing.
– You can request the transfer of the data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. You may then transfer it to another data controller yourself. Additionally, if technically feasible and with proper security standards, we can do this for you upon request.
– If the processing of your data is based on our legitimate interest, you may object to such processing.
If you believe your data is being processed in violation of your rights, please let us know. We strive to respond to feedback and suggestions from our users. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland – the President of the Personal Data Protection Office or its successor).
